Dale: Silly boy, the title of the article merely states the fact that the accused attended a bibleRead More college in Indiana. Nothing about his religion; if any. Only attendance. Do try to be attentive, before you,(again), post falsely.

What a dummy...if I was the girl I would NEVER speak to him again, ever...he could easily haveRead More gotten her arrested & charged b/c she innocently revealed details about her job duties...trust is something a relationship is supposed to be built upon & not using that trusted information to commit an illegal act.

That cell phone was so important to the woman who owns it, not only to conduct business to earn aRead More wage, but it was the only phone connection she had to call her family, the school, the family doctor, the Fire Dept, the Police Dept. Shame, shame, shame on the Selfie Thief, who not only stole a phone - she also stole the Victim's identity, her phone numbers, her photos of family, and her lifeline to make a living.
Carol June 6, 2014 at 09:38 pm
The right thing to do would've been that upon finding a phone left in a bathroom, please take it toRead More the store manager so that it could be returned to the one who owns the phone and all the info on it. Good luck to the Victim.

Sansone has done work for decades with WalMart. The problem is not nor has anything to do withRead More builders or the construction or purchasing aspects of the project. WalMart is probably just sick and tired of dealing with the talking monkeys that are the elected officials in Ellisville. They probably have no confidence in the City of Ellisville and the officials there to be consistent in anything so that Walmart could operate a business here. So the result is now an eyesore for the foreseeable future unless Ellisville can get half a dozen car dealers to move back in.
William Braudis September 9, 2013 at 07:45 pm
Dear Wal-Mart, great news for you. Mr. Mike K, in his comment has this all figured out. I amRead More certain that you are well pleased with this. And Mr E. Schmidt has it correct " I threw out the trash and I are it " I best thing about this whole event is that the Saint Louis area has now seen the I.Q., level of the people of Ellisville. I am sorry that they did not transfer to an Accredited School District that would have taught the out of real books and not over and over with Green Ham and Cheese.

Kudos to Mayor Adam Paul for standing tall against this proposed Wal-Mart. He heard the voice ofRead More the people and, after taking considerable personal abuse by the former council and others, well represented the citizens of Ellisville. Wal-mart stores have been built in other areas without benefit of TIF monies and Community Improvement District funds. Comprehensive economic development can occur without a Wal-Mart. This mindset that a community cannot thrive without one is ludicrous. There is a trail of communities across this country who welcomed them in and now deeply regret that they did so.

Hopefully, Mayor Paul and his cronies can satisfy their Walmart vendetta quickly, so they can beginRead More to conduct the city's business. For example, they could offer up suggestions & alternatives for the gigantic, empty, weed filled property that will be left when Walmart pulls out.
Vince McGrath September 5, 2013 at 02:44 pm
Mr. Bookout as City Manager is an administrator who is responsible to serve at the pleasure of theRead More City Council. It was his political maneuvering behind the scenes and aligning himself with Mr. Pirrello that caused his undoing. He should have worked for the entire council. He forgot he is an administrator and not a politician.

If Walmart pulls out, it will be entirely the failure of Sansone to comply with the primaryRead More condition in the Development Agreement, the RPA-2 ordinances, the TIF bond ordinance, the building permit requirements - that has never been met in the entire two years - namely to purchase the property on which they wish to develop. It is Sansone that has decided to fail to act promptly and in good faith on this one critical and specifically called out provision/requirement - every single time - that is the reason there are gigantic, empty, weed-filled properties on RPA-2. If Sansone had been able to actually deliver on their obligations under the agreements and numerous ordinances and permits, then there would be construction under way and we would not be having this discussion. Sansone could have also decided to adjust their plans to address the concerns of Mr. Diebold, but chose not to and to incur the distrust and utter absence of any goodwill towards Sansone and this project by many of the residents and more importantly, *voters*, and even more importantly, the voters that elected Mayor Paul, and Council members Cahill and Voss.
