Parkway Prepares for Route 141-Woods Mill Road Mess

As MoDOT continues to work on the new Route 141 project, Parkway administrators are taking steps to control traffic the first two weeks of school. They ask for patience from parents and students.

Approximately 125 buses will depart from Parkway Central High and Middle School to pick up their students on the first day of school, Aug. 14. Since July 14, the current intersection with Route 141 at Central High School has been closed, and the only way to access the Central High and Central Middle campuses is from the north by taking Olive Boulevard. All Westbound I-64 Lanes Closed Downtown This Weekend; New Route 141 Opens

The Missouri Department of Transportation reports on St. Louis area work zones for July 12-18.

MoDOT closes all westbound I-64 lanes in downtown this weekend The Missouri Department of Transportation will close all lanes on westbound Interstate 64 between Broadway and 21st Street this weekend. The closure will begin at 10 a.m., Friday. All lanes, except for the left lane, will be open by 5:30 a.m., Monday. During the closure, ramps from 10th and 14th streets will remain open to westbound I-64. Motorists are urged to take westbound Interstate 44 to Jefferson Avenue as a detour to access westbound I-64.   Relocated Route 141 and Page-Olive Connector to Open MoDOT and St. Louis County will celebrate the completion of two projects with a joint ribbon cutting event on Saturday, July 14.
