Ellisville Police Report Stolen Vehicles; Felony Theft

The Ellisville Police Department reports multiple crimes from the last week.

• A 2011 Mazda CX-7 was stolen between 11:55 a.m. and 12:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1 from the lot of Bommarito Mazda in Ellisville. Police said keys were left in the ignition, which was left running in order to do work on the vehicle related to its battery. When the worker returned, the vehicle was gone. Police said the CX-7 likely still was in white plastic shrink wrap Mazdas ship in from the assembly line when it was stolen. Edmunds.com values the car at $21,990. • A unattended purse was stolen around 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 at Einstein Brothers Bagel when the owner left the restaurant with her purse on the chair she was using.
