Ellisville Walmart Battle Reportedly Heading to Court

Arguments are set for Jan. 30 as residents try to block the development of a Walmart along Manchester Road, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

As previously reported by Patch, some West St. Louis County residents do not want a new Walmart store built along Manchester Road, west of Kiefer Creek Road. Neighbors even appealed for the Walmart project's conditional use permit to be pulled to prevent contstruction last year, but that request was formally denied by the Ellisville City Council. Now, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports residents are taking their case to a St. Louis County Circuit Court. Arguments are reportedly set for Jan. 30 in a resident’s bid to block the retailer from building along Manchester Road. (Read St. Louis Post-Dispatch Article Here.) RELATED ARTICLES:
