Rain Hits Ballwin, Possible Sleet Prompts Driver-Safety Concerns
The National Weather Service reports that in addition to the afternoon's rain, sleet and light snow may be in the forecast for the area late Wednesday.
Drivers running errands around Ballwin late Wednesday may want to think twice about getting behind the wheel. The National Weather Service forecast a 70 percent chance of sleet and rain in the area through Wednesday afternoon, with a 50 percent chance of continued showers tonight and possibly light snow. The elements may present a "mix transitioning to all rain from southwest to northeast by late this afternoon," a NWS representative wrote.
