Principal Gary Mazzola Says Goodbye to Parkway South

After three decades working in the Parkway School District, Mazzola retires to spend more time with his family. Hear his gratitude in this interview with 'Patch.'

Parkway South High School Principal Gary Mazzola calculates that in his 12 years as principal he has seen approximately 6,500 students enter and graduate from this Manchester school. On Friday, May 18, Mazzola will see the last of his students graduate. He is set to retire at the end of the school year—a decision he calls bitter-sweet. “I’ve seen an entire generation of Parkway South kids come through this school,” says Mazzola, 55, as he sits in his office. “It’s pretty bitter-sweet when you think about it. Parkway South High School Names New Principal

Patrice Aitch will replace retiring principal Gary Mazzola for the 2012 - 2013 School year.

Parkway School District officials made the announcement Tuesday that Patrice Aitch has been named the new principal at Parkway South High School. Aitch will replace Gary Mazzola, who is retiring after 31 years with Parkway. She taught high school social studies for six years and has served as assistant principal at South High for the past 12 years.
