MoDOT Cements Plans For 141 Opening
Event July 14 promises the public an opportunity to walk, bike or run the new Highway 141.
The Missouri Department of Transportation provided the following news release: The Missouri Department of Transportation and St. Louis County will celebrate the completion of two projects in St. Louis County with a joined ribbon cutting event on Saturday, July 14. At that time, MoDOT and the county will open both the relocated Route 141 project and the Page-Olive Connector project. The public is invited to join MoDOT and the county for a morning's worth of events. The celebration includes a 10K run on the new roadway, administered by Big Shark; a period of open walking, running and cycling on portions of the new highway; and a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Parking will be available at Parkway Central High School.
