Ballwin School Musician Writes Award-Winning Pop Song

A student at Holy Infant School in Ballwin took first place in a competition hosted by the University of Missouri New Music Initiative.

Anthony Delia, a student at Holy Infant School in Ballwin, recently received a first-place award for a song he submitted to a competition hosted by University of Missouri. The competition, titled Creatiting Original Music Project, rewarded 22 elementary, middle and high school students from across Missouri. Delia's song titled "Words" took first place in the Popular music category, which means Delia will have the chance to perform his song live at the 2012 Creating Original Music Project Festival scheduled for April 21 at the University of Missouri Fine Arts Building.
