Coming Soon: Trattoria Marcella Sister Restaurant Opening in Ballwin Grove
Marcella's Mia Sorella will claim stake in Ballwin, aiming for an early September opening.
The success of Trattoria Marcella on Watson Road has spurred a local opening for a sister restaurant, Marcella's Mia Sorella in Ballwin. Mia Sorella, set for an early September opening in Ballwin Grove at Clayton and Henry Road, will highlight Italian fare such as pizza, pasta and salads. The location will join Circle 7 Ranch as an "anchor" establishment in the shopping center. Jamie Komorek, an owner of the Marcella restaurants, said the restaurant will also feature outdoor dining, making use of a patio in the back, adding up to 40 more seats for customers. At the Ballwin Planning and Zoning Commission meeting Aug. 6, Commissioner Sue Theodore acknowledged the "very good" quality of food at Trattoria Marcella. The commission generally …
