NEWS NEARBY: Housekeeper Steals Jewelry, Antique Silver From Clarkson Valley Home, Police Say

The woman also is accused of thefts from a home in Glendale.

A housekeeper is accused of stealing six pairs of earrings and an antique, silver wine coaster from a Clarkson Valley home in which she worked. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) Kimberly E. Worthing, 49, of the 2800 block of Moravec Drive in High Ridge, was charged Feb. 27 with felony stealing. Worthing also was charged with a similar theft in Glendale. Glendale Police working on that case said they discovered Worthing sold several earrings, which belonged to the victim in Clarkson Valley, to a jewelry store in Creve Coeur. $550 in Jewelry Stolen From Ballwin Home, Police Say

Ballwin police are searching for a suspect after someone entered an unlocked home and reportedly made off with hundreds of dollars worth of jewelry.

According to the Ballwin Police Department, sometime between 12:15 and 3:00 p.m. on March 6, several pieces of jewelry were stolen from a home on Mountview Court. Ballwin Man Pawned Jewelry Stolen in Burglary, Police Say

Jahmil Perkins is being held in St. Louis County jail on a $20,000 bond for selling stolen jewelry in Manchester.

Manchester Police found a Ballwin man sold several items stolen in a burglary, an officer said. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) Jahmil Perkins, 35, of the 200 block of Solon Drive in Ballwin, was charged Feb. 8 with receiving stolen property. Manchester Police said Perkins sold jewelry, including silver chains, which were stolen from a home in Manchester during a recent burglary. Police said he sold the jewelry at a store at 14360 Manchester Road. Perkins told police the jewelry belonged to his family. Perkins was being held at St. Louis County jail Friday. Ex-Con Stole Ring From Girlfriend's Grandmother, Police Say

The defendent received a five-year sentence for receiving stolen property and a three-year-sentence for burglary in 2011.

A West County man faces stealing-related charges after Ballwin Police said he tried to sell a ring that belonged to his girlfriend’s grandmother. Alan Bullock, 26, of the 300 block of Bellezza Drive in West County just east of Ballwin, was charged Wednesday with receiving stolen property, a class C felony. Ballwin Police said Bullock sold a gold ring with a blue, marquise-cut stone surrounded by diamond chips on Sept. 1 to a shop in Des Peres. The ring belonged to the grandmother of a woman he was dating at the time. The grandmother discovered several pieces of jewelry missing. Bail was set at $10,000. Bullock pleaded guilty in November 2011 to a burglary and theft in Ellisville, and received a three-year prison sentence. He also pleaded …

West County Resident Sees Burglar Flee Her Home

St. Louis County Police said they caught the man a short time later with jewelry stolen from the home.

A West County resident arrived home about 1:43 a.m. Oct. 12 to see a burglar running out a back door in home in the 300 block of Messina Drive. St. Louis County Police said they caught the man a short distance away, with four pieces of jewelry from the home in Sorrento Springs Estates just south of Ballwin. Christopher Purtle, 32, of the 2100 block of Boxwood Lane in High Ridge, was charged Oct. 13 with first-degree burglary, misdemeanor stealing and possession of drug-related items. Police said Purtle stole three rings and a necklace from the home, and that he had hypodermic needles when he was arrested. Purtle is being held in St. Louis County jail in lieu of a $30,000 bond. Police: Ellisville Man, Girlfriend Stole Items Worth $20,000 in Crestwood, Glendale

The man faces criminal charges in Ladue for stealing jewelry, silver worth $200,000.

An Ellisville man charged with stealing jewelry valued at more than $200,000 in Ladue also faces stealing related charges in Glendale and Crestwood. His girlfriend also is charged with stealing. Justin Roux, 22, of the 200 block of Clayton Oaks Drive in Ellisville, was charged Sept. 7 with stealing in Glendale and Sept. 10 with receiving stolen property in Crestwood. Roux’s girlfriend, Tracy Rockwell, 22, of the 9100 block of Grant Farm Trail in Crestwood, also was charged Sept. 10 with stealing. Crestwood Police said she stole two sets of Sterling silverware, valued at $15,000, and a silver necklace, valued at $600, from a home on Paul Adrian Drive between May 10 and June 13. Ellisville, Ballwin Men Charged with Stealing $25,000

Ellisville Police got license plate number from burglary witness.

Three men have been charged with stealing more than $25,000 in cash and jewelry during a burglary in Ellisville. Andrew M. Pollvogt, 25, of Ellisville, Christopher Weber, 25, and Tyler Robley, 22, both of Ballwin have been charged with burglarizing a home in the 1200 block of Polo Lake Drive on March 14. Witnesses saw a green Honda pulling away from the home and gave police a license plate number. The plate was traced to Pollvogt’s car, according to an Ellisville Police report. Bond was set at $30,000 for Pollvogt and $25,000 for Weber and Robley. Pollvogt has several other pending burglary and stealing charges.
