Kennedy Catholic Loses in Dramatic Overtime Match

Orchard Farm High School beats John F. Kennedy Catholic 4-3 in overtime to reach the state tournament.

Narrow Loss Brings JFK's Season to a Halt

Kennedy rallies in the second half at Crystal City, but loses, 44-43, in the Class 3 District 4 championship game.

JFK Swimming Program on the Rise

Although the John F. Kennedy Catholic High School girls' swimming team is only in its fourth season, it has already revealed plenty of promise and excitement.

Although the John F. Kennedy Catholic High School girls' swimming team is only in its fourth season, it has already revealed plenty of promise and excitement. For the Kennedy Catholic boys' swimming team, this past season is already complete. Coached by Ann Hawkey, the girls team has had the opportunity to take a swimmer to the Missouri state swimming competition in both the 500 freestyle and 200 freestyle events in each of her first two seasons. Hawkey is hopeful she will get to take a few more to state in the very near future. Hawkey is especially excited about three returning swimmers: seniors Shannon Rogers and Carly Robison, and sophomore Carlye Chaney. "They all do a lot for the team," Hawkey said, "and they are especially helpful …
