It's been under construction for since last October, but Thursday Sept. 13 Manchester's new Nordstom Rack is opening for business at 9 a.m. at 100 Highlands Boulevard Drive. The 35,000 square-foot store is right next door to Weekends Only at the intersection of Manchester Road and Highlands Boulevard Drive. "For us to land the store here at the Highlands is going to bode well for everyone, I think," Franz Kraintz, Manchester's director of planning, zoning and economic development, tells Patch. "We're glad to have them as a retailer here." Kraintz also said he's hearing women in the community are happy the retailer has moved into the neighborhood.
