Ballwin Man Pawned Jewelry Stolen in Burglary, Police Say
Jahmil Perkins is being held in St. Louis County jail on a $20,000 bond for selling stolen jewelry in Manchester.
Manchester Police found a Ballwin man sold several items stolen in a burglary, an officer said. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) Jahmil Perkins, 35, of the 200 block of Solon Drive in Ballwin, was charged Feb. 8 with receiving stolen property. Manchester Police said Perkins sold jewelry, including silver chains, which were stolen from a home in Manchester during a recent burglary. Police said he sold the jewelry at a store at 14360 Manchester Road. Perkins told police the jewelry belonged to his family. Perkins was being held at St. Louis County jail Friday.
