Before you stuff silly with American fare, the Restaurant Review Round-Up is recommending that you take an Asian detour and try some sushi. This week we are visiting Sapporo Sushi in Ballwin. Sapporo is located in the Farber Center strip mall on Manchester Road and has a dining room and sushi bar where you can watch your rolls being made to order. Veteran sushi lovers will probably want to try one of house specialty rolls, such as the Sapporo (eel with two pieces of fried shrimp topped off with a spicy scallop-shrimp-crab mix), Cherry Blossom Roll (spicy crab and avocado, wrapped with tuna and salmon) and the Yummy Roll (fried shrimp, snowcrab, cream cheese and hot sauce topped with tempura crumbs and eel sauce).
