The campus went into a lockdown mode Thursday and cancelled day classes Friday after a bomb threat was discovered.

Updated: Dec. 21 at 10:09 a.m. With day classes and activities cancelled, St. John Church and Lutheran School is expecting to resume all church services and events as of Friday at 3 p.m., according to a press release from the school. Ellisville Police Chief Tom Felgate confirmed a note containing a bomb threat was discovered Thursday afternoon by a staff member at St. John. Felgate told Patch the threat was that the bomb would go off Friday. "We had eight of our officers, two detectives and St. John staff conduct a comprehensive search, which turned up nothing," Felgate said.
