Sex Offender Charged With Exposing Himself Online

St. Louis County Police said Paul Latina of the Ballwin area sent photos of his genitals to a person he believed to be a 14-year-old girl.

A registered sex offender living in Ballwin is accused of sending photos of his genitals online to a person he believed to be 14 years old. Paul Daniel Latina, 35, of the 300 block of Reindeer Drive in West County just south of Ballwin and Manchester , was charged March 26 with attempted sexual misconduct with a minor and failure to register as a sex offender. St. Louis County Police reported that Latina was in a chat room with a person he believed to be a 14-year-old girl on March 25, and he exposed himself to this person by sending online photos of his genitals. Latina previously pleaded guilty to attempted sexual assault on a minor in Colorado on March 10, 2003.  Police said he did not register all of this on-line identifiers with …

No Charges After Loaded Gun Scare Behind Parkway South High School

Police tell Patch they turned their case into prosecutors shortly after the December incident and prosecutors decided no criminal charges would be filed.

Manchester police tell Patch prosecutors decided not to file charges against the 19-year-old Webster Groves man who prompted four Parkway schools to go into "lockout" mode Dec. 17 while police searched nearby woods for the teen who posessed a loaded shotgun. No one was injured during the incident and the teen finally surrendered peacefully to authorities. Manchester Police Chief Tim Walsh said his investigators presented the case to the St. Louis County Prosecutors office shortly after the incident, which is normal procedure, but prosecutors determined they would not file criminal charges against the teen. West County Teen Charged in Sexual Assault of 14-Year-Old

Manchester police arrested Joshua D. Witkowski, 19, for allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old female. Police believe there are other victims.

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. Witkowski, 19, of the 200 block of Ballwin Avenue in Winchester for allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old female.  "DNA evidence was used to link Witkowski to this crime," Manchester police stated in a news release. Manchester Police Sgt. Dan Rehm said Witkowski was originally arrested by Manchester police on May 16, but then released pending further investigation and application of warrants.
