Scotty’s Fresh Produce Likely Moving in Along Manchester Road
Scotty's owner says the target move-in date for the location along Manchester Road is March 1.
The proposal for Scotty's Fresh Produce Market and Deli to move to Manchester is in the preliminary stages, but it is being reviewed by the Manchester Planning and Zoning Commission. Scotty's owner Mark Sgroi tells Patch the process is moving along and at this point it appears the market will move into the historic part of the city. "We're shooting for a March first opening date," Sgroi said. "We're probably at an 85 percent, 'Yeah this is a go.'" Manchester Alderman Michael Clement, who serves as the liaison to the planning and zoning commission, tells Patch that Sgroi is seeking a Special Use Permit to open the business in the former Meramec Valley Bank building at 14444 Manchester Road.
